We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through to treatment completion. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental software systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient treatment schedules, ensuring timely appointments and follow-ups.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and present them to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and other team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay informed on the latest practices in prosthodontics and other relevant areas of dentistry.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Ability to assist in clinical procedures when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
