They currently have 3 offices in Brooklyn NY, NJ and FL. MedElite hires Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistance (PA) and Physicians to services skilled nursing, rehab and LTC facilities. They provide acute primary care as well as specialty care. (Dermatology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Infectious disease, Neurology, Optometry, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Palliative, Pulmonary, Psych, and Urology).

For All Roles they will accept an NP or PA. For the specialty roles, the NP or PA MUST have experience in the specific specialty. For Example (Cardio, Derm etc.)

• They are looking for fulltime or part-time providers (NP or PA)
• They will accept new grad NP or PA only in Primary Care
• Based on the provider, they are open to 5 days per week or 4 days per week for fulltime hours
• The provider will know their schedule 3-4 weeks in advance
• On average the provider will see 20-30 patients or residents per day (can vary based on specialty)
• The provider may travel to multiple facilities in a surrounding area based on the needs of the patients.
• Most likely the provider will have an exam room to see patients in, they will provide bedside care/exam as needed

Salary:

• $150-$200K annually or $200K+ based on experience
• $75 Base Salary
• Salary is performance based, based on patients seen and CPT billings
• The NP will receive billables not collected amounts (not sure when they get paid out)
• It is based on a CPT code structure (billings) ICD10 submissions
• Mileage reimbursement over 30 miles at 67cents per mile

Submission process:

• Once you get the name cleared, you can submit through their ATS system Greenhouse.
• Submission status will show, application review, preliminary phone screen with MedElite recruiter, Clinical interview with one of their Medical Directors (MDs) via video MedElite has 2 MDs on staff who do the interviews, and then the facility might want to interview the provider.

Offer:

• Offer letter goes out
• Offer is accepted

On-Boarding/Training:

• MedElite has a credentialing team that will start this process 4-6 weeks
• Once the credentials are cleared they will determine a start date
• New Grad providers will do a 1 week hands on training
• Providers with > 6months will not do any hands on training
• Each provider will do 3-4 days of administration training, learning the documentation system etc.

PLEASE make sure each provider has the appropriate work experience!! Ensure they understand they will be working with the geriatric population in a skilled, rehab and or long term care facility! :)

 He mentioned his team updates everything in the portal real time….so it might take us a little while to get used to the process. Currently he added 3 jobs into the portal so we can just get a feel for it. I looked around, and it seems simple. I will give him the greenlight to add all the jobs in the portal 😊

 Regarding the Open Jobs:

• Ignore the sponsored and non sponsored..it means nothing
• You will want to work the jobs that say “Day: in one column and then “Open” under the status column. These are primarily the PCP roles (Fulltime-Part-time)
• Most of the specialty roles you will see “Day” in one column and then “Q1” or “Q2” in the next column. Whatever number is under that means the provider will go to that location 1x per month. These are not going to make you any money.
