Job Description:
As an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or illness, designing personalized rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy care to patients in an inpatient rehab setting, focusing on improving movement, strength, and independence.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based treatment techniques and monitor progress to ensure effective recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle adjustments for continued recovery after discharge.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document progress, treatments, and changes in condition.
- Promote a positive and supportive environment, building rapport with patients and their families to encourage active participation in their rehab journey.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as required by CA state regulations.
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
