Job Title: Advanced Imaging Technologist – Multiple Modalities
Schedule: Full-Time
- Tuesday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a diverse range of imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including Interventional Radiology, MRI, X-Ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and OR C-Arm guided procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, technical excellence, and efficient workflow within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including but not limited to:
- Interventional Radiology
- MRI
- X-Ray
- CT
- Nuclear Medicine
- OR C-Arm guided procedures
- Prepare and position patients for examinations, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment functionality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- NYS DOH license and NYS Contrast Media Injection license required.
- Advanced ARRT certification (e.g., CT, IR, MRI, MRSO, ARDMS, NMTCB) required.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Completion of the ACR Image Wisely/Image Gently radiation dose pledge required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
