POSITION: Pain Management Physician – BC/BE
LOCATION: Boone, NC
SHIFT: Days
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Job Summary:
We are looking for attentive, conscientious board certified or board eligible physicians in the specialty of pain management. Must be willing to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term or short-term relationships with patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.
Pain management doctors should take a vested interest in a patient’s well-being. This is achieved by demonstrating good listening skills, showing empathy, and understanding, and communicating clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Create patient-specific health programs.
- Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time.
- Schedule and administer follow-up examinations, procedures, medications over time.
- Make use of patient health data in medical analyses.
- Recommending specialists for treatment outside of their capacity.
- Educating patients in health management and disease prevention.

Requirements:
- Current Pain Management Physician (BC/BE) with willingness to obtain license in state of practice.
- Prefer 2+ years of experience but will consider new grads with excellent recommendations.
- The ability to communicate information in layman terms to patients and/or their families.
- Is compassionate and warm towards patients, who often suffer from painful and debilitating conditions.
