Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Inspire and hold your pharmacy team accountable, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Department Oversight: Manage operations, improve processes, and ensure efficient scheduling and performance.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide expert pharmaceutical care while maintaining high standards in clinical pharmacy practices, including antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety, and drug therapy management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Educate staff on medication management and ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the Controller to manage departmental budgets for staffing, medications, and supplies.
- Committee Leadership: Actively participate in hospital committees such as Quality Assurance, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, and Safety.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board.
- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program (or equivalent certification).
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed.
