Job Description: 

We are currently in need of an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse who is currently licensed and ready to take 

on the challenge of our fast-paced emergency room. Our ideal candidate is a highly-skilled, 

compassionate, quick-thinking, and reliable ER registered nurse. 

In this role, you are expected to deliver exceptional care for our patients in the emergency department 

of our ever-growing hospital. You will be working alongside our team of dedicated and passionate

Responsibilities: 

●Responsible for maintaining care standards in the emergency room. 

●Able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures. 

●Manage the patient check-in process, the performance of triage work for doctors, and assisting 

with initial insurance paperwork. 

●Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment 

recommendations. 

●Collaborate with laboratory personnel and report lab findings back to ER doctors. 

●Assist in the care of traumas, cardiac arrests, strokes, sexual assaults, and conscious sedation. 

●Demonstrate sound decision-making in emergency situations based on the conditions of 

patients such as vital signs, patient presentations, and assessments. 

●Provide RN care for all ER patients, as well as handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto 

transfusions, Medlock insertions, splinting, and more.

Requirements: 

• 1 year of Acute Care ER experience Required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
• If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
