POSITION TYPE: Registered Nurse (RN)

LOCATION: Lawton, OK
SHIFT: Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse with a Cardiac Focus to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including but not limited to:
- Cardiac patients: CP rule out, STEMI, NSTEMI, post-CABG, post-thoracotomy, post-peripheral vascular surgery/procedure.
- Respiratory patients: Respiratory failure requiring BIPAP or Airvo.
- Cardiac monitoring & interventions: Dysrhythmias or blood pressure irregularities requiring IV intervention and monitoring.
- Critical conditions: CHF, sepsis, and post-Cardiac Cath Lab patients requiring arterial sheath management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans based on patient assessment and diagnosis.
- Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical setting.
- Ensure safe and effective patient care across diverse age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Manage post-procedure recovery for Cardiac Cath Lab patients, ensuring proper monitoring and arterial sheath management.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma – Required.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience – Required.
- BLS & NIH Certification (or willingness to obtain) – Required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred.
