Job Title: Primary Care Physician
Location: Sussex County, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care Physician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. The Physician will be responsible for managing a panel of patients, providing comprehensive primary care services, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, acute care, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage and coordinate patient care across multiple settings and specialties.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and specialists.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor medical support staff as needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
- Potentially participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Monday–Friday schedule, with rotating weekend/call requirements
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in NJ.
- Current DEA and state controlled substance license.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
