Regional Director - Multi-site Physical Therapy Clinic Director



Job Summary:

The Regional Director will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and financial performance of six physical therapy clinics. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in healthcare management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive growth and operational excellence. The Regional Director will ensure the clinics meet and exceed patient satisfaction, financial targets, and compliance standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of six physical therapy clinics, ensuring efficient workflow, patient scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Implement and maintain standardized operational procedures and best practices across all clinics.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state licensing standards. 
  • Manage and maintain all clinic facilities and equipment.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage clinic budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and profitability goals.
  • Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and billing processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize clinic revenue and profitability.
  • People Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage clinic managers and staff.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to clinic managers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to clinic managers and staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Business Development & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase patient volume and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Patient Experience: Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction scores and implement strategies to improve patient experience.
  • Address patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote a patient-centered culture across all clinics.


Qualifications:

  • Physical Therapy Degree from an accredited institution, as well as active PT license in the state of Illinois
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a multi-site outpatient setting. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy operations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations within the region.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with EMR systems.
