REGISTERED NURSE – EMERGENCY ROOM (SIGN-ON AND RELOCATION)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
LOCATION: Douglas, WY
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate is a professional caregiver with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and critical thinking abilities, who thrives in urgent and unpredictable environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room using the nursing process.
- Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement a realistic plan of care.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and monitor patients’ responses to interventions.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Must obtain PALS, NRP, and TNCC within one year of hire.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
