Job Title: Master Ceramist – Layered Ceramics

Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Master Ceramist with advanced porcelain layering expertise for both anterior and posterior dental restorations. This vital role is ideal for a detail-oriented artisan with a deep understanding of dental esthetics, natural tooth morphology, and restorative design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with premium layered ceramic cases, full arch hybrid prosthetics, composite restorations, and implant-supported solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply porcelain to zirconia and metal frameworks with consistent, esthetic precision.
- Recreate natural dentition by achieving lifelike translucency, texture, and shade layering.
- Conduct custom shade matching and participate in patient shade appointments.
- Fabricate full arch hybrid prosthetics with a focus on accuracy and esthetic excellence.
- Utilize composite materials to produce restorations that mimic natural teeth.
- Analyze case photos, digital scans, and clinician instructions to deliver case-specific outcomes.
- Collaborate with in-house design and quality control teams to ensure precise case development.
- Manage complex anterior esthetic cases independently.
- Uphold rigorous quality control standards in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Balance efficiency with a commitment to artistic craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in layered ceramic restorations.
- Proven expertise in full arch hybrid prosthetics and composite restorations.
- Exceptional skills in both anterior and posterior esthetics.
- In-depth knowledge of dental morphology, light dynamics, and shade theory.
- Proficiency with zirconia, lithium disilicate (e.max), PFM frameworks, and composites.
- Ability to interpret digital workflows and dental photography.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience chairside with clinicians and patients.
- Expertise in custom staining and characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with digital design software and 3D case visualization.
