Healthcare Recruiter – Full Desk

Position Overview
i4 Search Group is seeking a driven Healthcare Recruiter to manage the complete recruiting lifecycle—from developing client relationships and securing job orders to sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and closing placements.
This is a true full-desk recruiting position, combining business development, account management, and direct-hire healthcare recruiting. It is best suited for someone who wants control over their own production and is comfortable creating opportunities—not simply working assigned requisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business with hospitals, health systems, medical practices, and other healthcare organizations
- Identify hiring needs and convert prospective clients into active search partners
- Manage client relationships from initial outreach through placement and post-placement follow-up
- Source and recruit healthcare professionals through direct outreach, job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
- Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate experience, qualifications, compensation expectations, and career goals
- Present qualified candidates with clear, accurate summaries of their backgrounds and fit
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams
- Manage offer negotiations, counteroffers, resignations, and pre-employment requirements
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective clients, active searches, and qualified candidates
- Track recruiting and business-development activity within the company’s ATS
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and market intelligence
- Take ownership of individual production goals and the overall performance of the desk
Qualifications
- Recruiting, staffing, healthcare, sales, or business-development experience preferred
- Previous full-desk or agency recruiting experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and direct candidate outreach
- Ability to manage multiple searches, clients, and candidates simultaneously
- Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and personal accountability
- Able to operate independently in a remote, performance-driven environment
- Competitive, resilient, and motivated by measurable results
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
