Director of Nursing – Cardiovascular Services
Location: Longview, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, Days

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for Cardiovascular Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for our comprehensive cardiac care programs. This role oversees all cardiovascular nursing functions including Cath Lab, EP Lab, Cardiac Rehab, and CVICU, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing teams across cardiovascular service lines.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with hospital, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and executive teams to optimize patient care delivery and resource utilization.
- Oversee budget development, staffing, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability within all cardiovascular departments.
- Serve as a key resource in developing strategic growth plans for cardiovascular programs and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or MBA) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in cardiovascular or cardiac care settings.
- Proven success in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving clinical and operational performance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
