Physical Therapist
Location: Margate, FL
Schedule: Full-time • Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. This position involves working in an acute care setting and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and physician input.
- Deliver effective, evidence-based physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic techniques, and the use of adaptive equipment or prosthetics for continued care outside clinical sessions.
- Coordinate with team members to manage caseload priorities, daily assignments, and patient handoffs effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist License in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting is required.
