Title: Perinatal Safety Specialist – Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Dodge City & Garden City, KS
Schedule: Primarily Days; some evenings/weekends required

We’re seeking a Perinatal Safety Specialist RN to champion patient safety, lead maternal-child quality initiatives, and support care teams through education, strategy, and collaboration.
This role offers the chance to elevate patient care for women and infants, serving as both a clinical role model and change agent in an environment where your voice and leadership matter.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical expert and advocate for perinatal safety across maternal-child health units
- Implement and manage patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to educate and promote national care standards
- Monitor patient outcomes and drive action based on clinical data
- Promote communication, consistency, and collaboration across teams
- Assist in strategic planning and care optimization in Women & Infants services
🔹 Requirements:
- BSN required; MSN or higher preferred
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Women’s Services
- At least 1 year of project-based work in Perinatal Safety (2+ years preferred)
- RN license in applicable state (Kansas)
- Certification (or commitment to obtain within 6 months): CCRN-NEO, C-EFM, RNC-OB, RNC-MNN, etc.
- BLS required; NRP within 90 days of hire
- Strong background in QI/process improvement, facilitation, and implementation
- Advanced communication, critical thinking, negotiation, and software skills
- Passion for empowering safe outcomes for mothers and babies
