Job Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics (Full-Time)

Reports To: Clinic Director or Rehabilitation Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or surgery. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and functionality.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards.
- Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and continuous education activities.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
- Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but new grads are welcome.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Working Conditions:
- Clinical setting in an outpatient orthopedic facility.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours based on patient needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and assist patients safely.
