Job Summary
We’re seeking a full-time Physical Therapist licensed in Ohio to evaluate, design, and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs. You’ll help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ medical history, physical condition, and functional goals.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans using techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans to meet goals and document in EMR systems.
- Educate patients and families on activities and prevention strategies.
- Coordinate with physicians, PTAs, nurses, speech therapists, teachers (for school-based roles), and other professionals.
- Supervise supporting staff and ensure compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, and Ohio state regulations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted Ohio PT license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics, home health, pediatrics/school settings, or hospital-based therapy. New grads welcomed, particularly with mentorship programs available.
- Familiarity with EMR documentation and productivity metrics.
