Registered Nurse – Med Surg – WILL Cross Train LTAC RN Experience

This 290-bed acute care facility, proudly serving its community for over 40 years, offers cutting-edge services and is recognized for clinical excellence, innovative care, and a comprehensive cardiac program. Located in beautiful Hudson, FL, this hospital is also a designated Level II Trauma Center with a nationally acclaimed Heart Institute.
Position Highlights:
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med Surg patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and clinical notes.
Qualifications:
- Active FL RN license or multistate compact RN (must obtain FL license within 90 days).
- ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
- BLS certification required (must be AHA).
- Acute care experience preferred – LTACH RNs encouraged to apply! (Must have 2–3 years minimum)
- Excellent communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
Compensation & Perks:
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: +$4.75/hr
- Weekends: +$3.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 – paid in 6-month increments
- Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
- Training Available for qualified LTACH nurses!
