Allied Health – Echo Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional Echo Technician to perform cardiac ultrasound to include, but not limited to M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler and Color Doppler studies and stress echocardiograms. Technicians will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation, maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.
- Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
- Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.

Requirements:
- Currently Registered in Pediatric Echo in state of practice.
- College or technical training program preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Two (2) years of Acute Care Hospital experience in Pediatric Echocardiography Required.
- Has detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
