SPECIALTY UNIT: Human Resources Director

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, leave administration, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Partner with hospital leadership to foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and accountability.
- Serve as a primary liaison between hospital leadership and corporate HR functions.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee staff education programs, compliance training, and professional development initiatives.
- Direct recruitment and retention strategies to ensure consistent staffing resources.
- Manage HR-related investigations and provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
- Support benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and employee well-being initiatives.
Position Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of Human Resources leadership experience (Manager level or above) with direct reports.
- Comprehensive HR background—must have experience across multiple HR functions (not limited to one specialty).
- Healthcare HR experience required, with inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations investigations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
