Title: Registered Nurse (Acute Care / Float Pool)

What You’ll Do
- Deliver individualized nursing care using evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Admit, treat, and discharge adult patients with diverse conditions.
- Float to units as needed, adapting quickly to changing environments.
- Participate in committees, quality improvement projects, and surveys.
- Uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing ethics.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred).
- Current RN license (Texas or Compact State).
- Recent acute care experience required.
- Certifications:
- BLS required.
- ACLS required prior to completion of orientation.
- NIH Stroke Scale required prior to completion of orientation.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong adaptability and flexibility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Ability to handle confidential information and therapeutic equipment.
