Position: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Abilene, Texas

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you’ll play a vital role in caring for patients with complex conditions by monitoring and interpreting life-saving data. What You’ll Do
- Provide direct, individualized patient care using evidence-based nursing principles.
- Connect patients to telemetry equipment, monitor EKG and heart rhythms, and interpret data.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement, committees, and professional initiatives.
- Uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred).
- Current RN license (Texas or compact state).
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).
- Strong professional appearance, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
