APRN / Nurse Practitioner – Adult Medicine

The Adult Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced APRN/NP to join the team. This role provides comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention, while collaborating with physicians and referring patients to specialists as appropriate.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and completion of an approved nurse practitioner program
- Valid State of Connecticut licensure
- DEA and Connecticut narcotic registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of nursing or physician assistant theory and practice, with a proven record of delivering high-quality, comprehensive clinical care
- Ability to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative environment
- Experience taking medical histories, assessing conditions, and interpreting findings
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), with proven success engaging patients, peers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Evidence-based clinical decision-making and adherence to quality measures
- Comfort with electronic health records and related clinical systems
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
- 1–2 years of experience in an ambulatory or urgent care setting preferred
