MRI Technologist – Full-Time, Days
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Level: Mid-Level

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures, including patient preparation, positioning, and scanning.
- Administer contrast agents when necessary.
- Monitor and enter patient data accurately.
- Ensure technical quality of imaging results.
- Conduct quality assurance on MRI equipment and related systems.
- Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Take emergency call assignments as required.
- Promote patient safety and adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support professional growth of colleagues by serving as a mentor or preceptor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS), required.
- Registered MRI Technologist through ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, required.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others.
