Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic outpatient imaging team. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your skills and work alongside a team of experienced, board-certified subspecialty radiologists. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care and possess a strong understanding of imaging best practices and patient communication.
Essential Functions
- Operate mammography equipment to perform diagnostic and screening procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Evaluate image quality for technical accuracy, including factors such as contrast, density, and positioning.
- Educate patients on procedures and the importance of regular mammographic screening for breast health.
- Maintain accurate records, complete necessary documentation, and ensure equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and properly maintained.
- Apply standard imaging practices and procedures, relying on professional judgment to meet imaging goals.
- Perform a range of imaging-related tasks with general supervision.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current hands-on CPR certification.
- Prior experience in a clinical mammography setting preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, with frequent standing and walking required.
