Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Full-Time | 3rd Shift | Northern Dayton Region

We’re seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a well-established community health organization in Northern Dayton, Ohio to join their dedicated respiratory care team. About the Team
You’ll be joining a skilled team of respiratory professionals who provide high-quality care across inpatient and emergency settings. The department supports patients of all ages who require treatment for conditions such as COPD, asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. The team also assists with critical care and neonatal cases, providing a broad and rewarding clinical experience.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and monitor oxygen, humidity, and therapeutic modalities (masks, cannulas, trach masks, etc.)
- Deliver aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and other respiratory therapies
- Manage mechanical and non-invasive ventilation, including airway care and suctioning
- Assist with emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, and extubation
- Perform diagnostic testing including blood gases, ECGs, and pulmonary function tests
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean respiratory equipment to ensure safety and performance
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- RRT credentialed or registry-eligible (NBRC)
