Job Title: Director of Critical Care
Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Critical Care to lead a 30-bed Cardiac Critical Care unit. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, staff performance, and quality outcomes while ensuring exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Critical Care department
- Oversee a team of approximately 30 full-time staff (FTEs)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and hospital leadership
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 5+ years of Critical Care nursing leadership experience
- Strong background in cardiac or ICU settings preferred
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
