Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Ocala, FL 34481
Status: Permanent
Shifts Available:
- Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
- Nights (Rotating Weekends)
✨ Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic ER RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will care for patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to complex life-threatening emergencies.
This role requires strong assessment skills, quick decision-making, adaptability, and the ability to multitask while providing exceptional patient-centered care.
🩺 Responsibilities
- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
- Develop individualized care plans and expected patient outcomes
- Provide ongoing evaluation and initiate modifications to care plans
- Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs frequently
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide discharge and follow-up instructions
- Maintain a continuous focus on safety, quality, and patient experience
🎓 Qualifications
- 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED – Required
- Active Florida RN license or compact RN (compact holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation)
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required
- ACLS – within 90 days
- BLS – within 30 days
- ENPC – within 6 months
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – within 6 months
- PALS – within 90 days
