Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your skills in a dynamic outpatient radiology environment. Work alongside a dedicated team of subspecialty radiologists while contributing to high-quality patient care using advanced imaging technology.
Essential Functions
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer systems.
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to support diagnostic interpretation and therapeutic planning.
- Evaluate images to ensure technical quality and proper equipment calibration.
- Conduct organ or body scans to assist physicians in diagnostic decision-making.
- Administer and document isotope dosages according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any unusual activity or concerns.
- Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Use experience and judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish work goals under general supervision.
- Demonstrate competency in job-related skills appropriate to patient populations served while delivering excellent customer service.
- Operate equipment and devices to maintain a safe, functional, and effective clinical environment.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Education
- High school diploma required.
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program accredited by the AMA.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Licensure & Certification
- BLS or hands-on CPR certification.
- Registration with one of the following:
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
- State licensure where required by law.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology.
