Nurse Manager – NICU $20,000 Sign on bonus + Relocation offered
Location: Houston, TX
Shift Options:
- Days: 7:00a–7:00p
- Evenings: 3:00p–11:00p
- Nights: 11:00p–7:00a
- (Weekends with rotation / on-call as required)
Position Overview
Nurse Manager for our Level IV NICU to lead and support a high-performing neonatal care team. This role partners closely with nursing leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting staff engagement, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement
.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with daily operations and long-term planning for the NICU
- Support staffing, scheduling, performance management, and staff development
- Ensure nursing care delivery aligns with evidence-based practice and hospital standards
- Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
- Provide clinical and operational support to bedside nursing staff
- Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within Women’s Services
- Promote a collaborative, supportive, and patient-focused work environment
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent NICU leadership experience (Manager or Charge Nurse; within the last year)
- BSN required
- Active Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- (Texas RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact)
- Current AHA BLS Certification
