LOCATION: Kansas City, MO
SHIFT: Nights 3×12’s |7pm-7am
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Job Description:
The CNL – Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area.
- Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift.
- Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
- Interview others: Team facilitation & have meeting skills

Requirements:
- Current Acute Care Med Surg| Preferred Charge Nurse Exp.
- Active RN license within the State of practice.
- AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) BLS & ACLS required
- ADN or Diploma in Nursing program required. BSN preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred.
- One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.
