- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- No on-call required
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy, fast-paced Renal/Vascular Medical-Surgical unit within a large, full-service acute care hospital. This unit cares for complex adult patients and is ideal for nurses who thrive in hands-on bedside care, enjoy clinical variety, and value strong teamwork.
You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians in a patient-centered environment that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients with renal and vascular needs
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to clinical changes
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and discharge planning
- Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Manage care efficiently in a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
Qualifications
- 1+ year of RN experience required
- Acute care experience NOT required
- Experience accepted from:
- LTAC
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Outpatient Rehab
- Corrections
- Strong bedside or high-patient-volume experience preferred
- Active RN license (Florida or compact)
- Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
- COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved exemption
