Title: Nurse Manager – Emergency Services (FSED)
Location: Mount Dora, Florida
Status: Full Time Monday
- Dayshift – Monday through Friday (8am–5pm)
- Leadership call responsibilities
- Responsible for 24/7 department operations

Position Overview
The Nurse Manager oversees clinical operations, staff development, and department performance while ensuring delivery of safe, efficient, patient-centered emergency care.
This leader will:
- Drive evidence-based practice and clinical excellence
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
- Optimize patient throughput and operational efficiency
- Develop staff engagement and retention strategies
- Foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams
- Champion patient experience initiatives
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and department productivity
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance benchmarks

Qualifications
✔ Active RN license (or APRN)
✔ Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing
✔ Recent acute care Emergency Department leadership experience within the last year (charge nurse, coordinator, supervisor, or similar)
✔ Strong clinical ER background required
✔ Self-directed leadership style
Certifications:
- BLS within 30 days
- ACLS within 6 months
- PALS within 6 months
Preferred:
- Previous experience within large healthcare systems
- Leadership experience in free-standing or community ER environments
