Dental Hygienist – Reno, NV
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a well-established, patient-centered dental practice in Reno, NV. This is a part or full time opportunity.
Position Overview:
The Dental Hygienist will play a key role in delivering preventive and periodontal care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall clinical workflow in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive procedures
- Take and review dental radiographs as needed
- Conduct periodontal assessments and document findings accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during exams and treatment planning as necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant operatory
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
Schedule:
- 4-day work week
- No evenings or weekends
Qualifications:
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Nevada
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
