Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)
Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview
Seeking a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor to provide comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment across outpatient (OP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care. This role includes assessments, diagnosis, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support long-term recovery and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and substance use assessments, including risk evaluations.
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy (CBT, motivational interviewing, behavioral therapies).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate dual-diagnosis treatment and relapse prevention planning.
- Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and families.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and billing compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical case reviews.
- Provide crisis intervention and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Active LCADC licensure.
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure counseling experience (OP, PHP, IOP, or inpatient).
- Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with ASAM criteria and evidence-based addiction treatment practices.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records.
Work Environment
Behavioral health treatment setting across OP, PHP, and IOP levels of care. Team-based model with regular interdisciplinary collaboration. Flexible scheduling; No nights or weekends. In-person role.
