RN Manager – Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery
Location: Kansas City, MO (Suburban Area)
Relocation: Offered on a case-by-case basis
We are seeking an experienced RN Manager – Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery to lead a high-performing cardiac diagnostics and observation team. This leader will oversee clinical operations, staff performance, and patient care quality across multiple cardiovascular service lines.
This is an excellent opportunity for a cardiology-focused nurse leader with strong critical care experience to step into a visible, impactful management role.
Position Overview
The RN Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for the Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery areas, including:
- Cardiac Observation
- ECHO
- Stress Testing
- Pre/Post Cardiac Testing Services
The manager will lead approximately 20 FTEs and is responsible for staffing, quality outcomes, workflow efficiency, and team development across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight for cardiovascular prep and recovery services
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance for a 20-member clinical team
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Drive process improvement and patient experience initiatives
- Partner with physicians and senior leadership on departmental goals
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN strongly preferred
- Current Missouri RN license or multistate compact RN license required
- Cardiology background required
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a related setting:
- Cardiology
- Critical Care
- ICU leadership or CNC-level experience
- BCLS required
- ACLS required within one year of hire
