Title: OB-GYN Physician – Academic Faculty Opportunity
Location: South Hill, VA
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday with call 10 days per month
We are seeking an OB-GYN physician with clinical excellence and meaningful patient care come together. This position offers the chance to practice comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology, advancing Women’s Health in a rural community setting.
This position blends hands-on clinical care with academic involvement, providing an ideal environment for physicians passionate about mentoring, collaboration, and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Practice
- Provide comprehensive general obstetrics and gynecology care
- Perform surgical procedures and therapeutic interventions
- Manage inpatient and outpatient consultations
- Participate in call rotation as part of a collaborative team
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a supportive environment
Service & Leadership
- Participate in departmental and professional committees
- Engage in academic and community service initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Eligible for or active Virginia medical license
- Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and clinical excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, professional environment
Preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (American Board of OB/GYN)
- Experience in teaching and mentoring learners
- Interest or experience in research and scholarly activities
