Physical Therapist
Location: Berlin, MD
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient practice in Berlin, MD. This is a one-on-one care model, allowing you to focus fully on each patient and deliver high-quality, individualized treatment. Services are expanding to include stretching programs and more holistic wellness offerings — creating a comprehensive, community-focused health destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients through medical history review and comprehensive physical assessments
- Identify functional limitations and establish measurable goals
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs
- Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and appropriate modalities to restore mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland
- Strong manual therapy skills or interest in advanced manual techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of documentation standards and treatment protocols
- Strong critical thinking and time management abilities
- Passion for patient education and community engagement
