Job Summary and Qualifications
- You will be responsible for the 24/7 leadership of all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and strategic goals.
- You will ensure alignment of all systems to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, while focusing on people, services, and financial stewardship.
- You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, families, physicians, peers and other departments to move the organization forward.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of the department including but not limited to payroll, hiring, counseling, mentoring/coaching, scheduling, orientation, competency validation of new and existing staff, and annual evaluations.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
LICENSURE:
- Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous recent Department Director or Manager experience required, will also a strong CNC looking to step into a Manager role.
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience required
Relocation: Case by Case Basis
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
