We are seeking dynamic, decisive, patient-focused RNs to join a collaborative Emergency Department team within a 222-bed acute care hospital. This modern facility offers comprehensive emergency services and advanced specialty care including orthopedics, surgical services, oncology, radiology, wound care, and more.
The Emergency Department manages patients across the acuity spectrum — from minor injuries to critically ill trauma and medical emergencies.
Strong Med Surg nurses with at least 1 year of acute care experience are encouraged to apply.
This department provides structured cross-training to support nurses transitioning into Emergency Nursing.
As an ER RN, you will:
- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
- Rapidly identify patient priorities and implement appropriate interventions
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-volume environment
- Provide emergency stabilization for acutely and critically ill patients
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver discharge education and follow-up care instructions
- Ensure patient safety while maintaining strong clinical judgment
- Adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and department needs
This role requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, and calm decision-making under pressure.
Cross-Training Pathway
If you are a Med Surg RN with 1+ year of recent acute care experience and desire to move into Emergency Nursing, this team offers a structured onboarding and training program to help you build ED-specific competencies.

Qualifications
- Active RN license (or multistate compact license)
- Associate Degree or RN Diploma required
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (Med Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED)
- BLS within 30 days
- ACLS within 90 days
- PALS within 90 days
- ENPC within 6 months
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months
