Physical Therapist (Hand Therapy) + Sign-On Bonus!
LOCATION: Tigard, OR
SCHEDULE: Could be 4x10s or 5x8s
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
A busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Tigard is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with a focus on hand therapy. This role primarily treats patients with hand and upper extremity conditions, with occasional general orthopedic cases. Ideal candidates will have experience with hand therapy techniques and splint fabrication, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
This is a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working with upper extremity conditions while maintaining a varied outpatient caseload in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions.
- Provide individualized therapy plans to improve mobility and function.
- Fabricate and fit splints as needed (preferred experience).
- Treat a mix of hand therapy and general orthopedic cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or DPT).
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain before start).
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start).
- Experience or strong interest in hand therapy preferred.
- Splinting experience is a plus.
