Job Description:
We are in search of a professional, caring cardiologist to join our team and help us build a STEMI program in a high need area. You will evaluate and treat a wide array of patients with cardiovascular health concerns. You will diagnose and treat disorders in an inpatient hospital setting. Our primary mission is providing exceptional cardiology health care to adult patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history.
- Accurately diagnose patients.
- Collaborate and work with other medical professionals and cardiologists.
- Provide tests and interpret the results of studies.
- Prescribe medication and/or develop treatment plans, as well as conduct medication checks, and order tests.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families utilizing excellent communication skills.
- Monitor the side effects of treatment and medication.
- Provide follow-up care and work with other cardiology specialists and participate in research, development, treatments, and medication.

Requirements:
- Current licensed cardiology in state of practice, required.
- Board eligible or certified.
- A team leader that works with and leads others towards excellence in care.
- Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, including diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation & management, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention and overall care and treatment of cardiology patients.
- The ability to communicate information in layman terms and show compassion to patients and/or their families.
- Great organization skills, time management, decision making and research skills.
