Job Title: Nurse Manager, RN – MICU
Location: Houston, Texas

Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Schedule: No Weekends
- 34 Bed CV ICU, MCS Devise, MICU Unit – Nurse to Patient Ratio 1-2:1
Position Summary
The Nurse Manager – MICU is responsible for providing clinical leadership, operational oversight, and staff development within the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care while driving performance improvement initiatives and fostering a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
The Nurse Manager will demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, clinical expertise, and operational management skills to support both patient outcomes and team engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field highly preferred
- Current Texas RN License required
- National certification in specialty practice and/or administration within six months of hire
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 90 days of hire
- Minimum five (5) years of recent nursing experience required
- Minimum one (1) year of recent supervisory experience (Assistant Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse) in direct patient care required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $41.58 – $61.87 per hour (based on experience)
