Now Hiring: Director of Benefits (Hybrid) – Houston, TX
Are you a strategic benefits leader ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? We’re seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and administration of comprehensive benefits programs for a dynamic, multi-divisional healthcare organization.
Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)
Must be willing to relocate or currently reside in the Houston area
Industry: Healthcare (Required)
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategy, design, and execution of employee benefits programs
- Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness plans
- Ensure full compliance with IRS, ERISA, and healthcare regulations
- Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, and trustees
- Drive innovation in benefits offerings and wellness initiatives
- Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing benefits operations
- Strong background in healthcare or complex, multi-entity organizations
- Deep expertise in:
- Health & welfare plans
- Retirement plans (401k, 403b, pension, non-qualified)
- Compliance (COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, healthcare reform)
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CEBS or CBP are a plus
