Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Pay: Starting at $33.15/hour (increases based on experience)
- Shift Differentials:$4.00/hour (evenings starting at 7 PM)
- $0.25/hour (late night starting at 11 PM)
- $6.00/hour Critical Care differential
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 (2-year commitment)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking adaptable and clinically strong Critical Care Float Pool RNs to join a dynamic hospital environment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and enjoy working across multiple critical care units.
As part of the float pool, you will gain exposure to a variety of patient populations while playing a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Monitor and evaluate critically ill patients across multiple units
- Deliver age-appropriate, culturally competent care tailored to individual patient needs
- Accurately document clinical findings, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state or state-specific)
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt quickly across units
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Highly Preferred:
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
- Strong Med-Surg background with exposure to higher-acuity patients
