3Job Title: Invoicing / Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for Dental Lab
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (23-27 DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing / AR Specialist to support daily billing operations and accounts receivable functions. This role is ideal for a candidate with 3–5 years of experience in invoicing and AR, along with a solid foundation in general accounting principles. While prior dental laboratory experience is not required, familiarity with complex or specialized billing environments is a plus.
The ideal candidate will not only manage invoicing and collections efficiently but also bring a broader accounting perspective to support the finance team. Candidates with an accounting degree and the ability to contribute to additional financial processes and analysis are strongly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices on a daily basis; collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging; proactively follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely collections
- Process and apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
- Prepare and distribute customer billing statements on a regular schedule
- Code and process accounts payable transactions using Bill.com
- Manage and execute vendor payments through external payment platforms
- Assist with month-end close activities and support general accounting functions as needed
- Perform additional responsibilities, special projects, and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Bill.com (or similar platforms)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday without exception
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience contributing to broader finance or accounting team initiatives
- Exposure to specialized or high-volume billing environments
