Clinical Pharmacist – Louisville, KY
Full time, onsite, Mon-Fri
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in the field of IV nutrition and sterile compounding!!
The Clinical Pharmacist will be a licensed pharmacist and will:
- Provide consultation to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor sterile compounding, technician, and shipping schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain quality assurance standards for sterile compounding, reporting relevant data
- Ensure compliance with established procedures concerning controlled substances, hazardous waste disposal, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor patient information, lab values, dosing for safety and efficacy
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Some oversight of technicians and other operational personnel.
- Participate in operations meetings and ensure efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and professionalism.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, state pharmacy board regulations, and employment laws.
Education and Experience:
- PharmD or equivalent, or 2 years of related experience/training.
- Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy residency experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Current Pharmacist License with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Compliance with all continuing education requirements.
