Lead Mammography Technologist – Imaging Services
Location: Houston, TX 77024
Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm + Every 4th Saturday 7:00am–3:30pm

As Lead Mammography Technologist, you will serve as the clinical and operational backbone of the Imaging Services department. Responsibilities include providing expert mammography care to patients across multiple services and specialties including complex diagnoses, fulfilling a senior clinical resource role for department staff and interdisciplinary teams, monitoring and maintaining high-quality patient care standards by aligning patient needs with departmental resources, leading operations coordination and ensuring all quality, compliance, and accreditation standards are consistently met, demonstrating thorough knowledge of interdepartmental and inter-hospital policies, procedures, and departmental guidelines, holding staff accountable for customer service, risk reduction, and process improvement initiatives, and utilizing research and evidence-based practice to continuously advance care delivery within the department.

What You’ll Need
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) — required
- ARRT-R — Registered Radiologic Technologist certification — required
- ARRT-M — Registered Mammography Technologist certification — required
- BLS or ACLS certification — required
- Minimum 5 years of mammography experience in an acute care hospital or ambulatory setting — required
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to hold team members accountable to excellence
- Knowledge of imaging department policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
