Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Location: Salem, VA 24153
Schedule: Full-Time
Shifts: Days, Nights, Evenings, Mixed | Rotating Weekends

As an ER RN you will triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages across the full acuity spectrum — from minor injuries to critically ill presentations. You will manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs based on acuity while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate effective follow-up care and referrals, documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in accordance with organizational policy, and coordinating seamlessly with physicians and other hospital departments while maintaining a patient-focused and safety-aware approach at all times.

What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing — required
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program — preferred
- Active Virginia RN license or multi-state compact RN license with VA eligibility — required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) — required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care ER setting preferred
- Med/Surg candidates considered for cross-training — Night Shift only
